EXIT ENGINEERING technical experience comes from more than ten years of design activity on composites products, both for aerodynamic and structural purposes.
EXIT ENGINEERING uses powerful surface modeling software packages, interfaced with numerical control machining tools. These computer systems allow maximum freedom to the mold designer, so that we can concentrate on product efficiency and ease of manufacturing. Advanced technologies – from autoclave high pressure cured pre-preg fabrics, to NC machined master models – are still considered the almost exclusive domain of aerospace industry and motorsports competitions, and many believe that the cost of similar products must be very high. Still the opposite is often true: when talking about composites, the break even point between industrial and low tech products is reached at relatively low production volumes. There are several different technologies for the industrial production of carbon fiber components and it's important to choose the one appropriate to the task. In doing this, we can offer to our customers the best mechanical performance at a reasonable cost.
FEM software is used to evaluate mechanical and thermal loads on our composite designs. We can quickly and easily perform structural simulations on our computers, without resorting to outside facilities, and this capability, together with our long standing experience, allows us to shorten the optimization processes on prototypes, which often prove to be unnecessary. For the most demanding tasks, when a prototype testing is needed, we have a long standing co-operation with University laboratories.
