Utilizing the latest up-to-date technology of naval architecture and marine engineering, we have developed a series of stylish new generation sailing yachts, using boat building construction of advanced composite, with incredible cruising comfort and seaworthiness, both under sail and under power. Ikaros 43 Cruiser/Racer: A fast hull with soft stylish exterior lines, 2 or 3 cabin layout.
Ikaros 43.1: An IRC racer with competitive rating and performance.
Ikaros 72: A cruising yacht, easy to handle by a crew of two, with 3 or 4 cabin layout.
Ikaros 92: The bigger sister of Ikaros 72, easy to handle by a crew of four. Available in a 4 or 5 cabin layout

PERFORMANCE SERVICES
OPTIMIZATION: Ikaros Marine, using the VPP design programs from ORC as well as boatbuilding programs, can suggest solutions in order to develop the LPP / VPP and improve the rating of racing sailing yachts, making them competitive and improving their performance under both IMS and IRC handicap rules.

Non racing yachts may improve their performance and their stability as well, through modifications involving redesidn and reconstruction of keel, rudder, rig, sails etc.

POLARS: Ikaros Marine is offering a performance software package for yacht racing.
Our program replicates the actual speed polars of a yacht (the only software suite in the world enabling objective data exchanges with sail lofts) and is the benchmark software program for simulating and creating the actual speed polars experienced by yachts. It contains calculation algorithms and powerful data filters and can be used to obtain very accurate performance or routing polars.

Our module adds professional-racer-dedicated modules to the software´s functions — boat configuration (sails, ballasts, foils, etc.), polar comparisons, polar conversions from one format to another, and so on. It can be used at any time to show if the boat is sailing in the correct sail configuration, and to indicate what the best configuration for the following legs will be and can also be used to communicate with the sail loft.
